This policy explains how shipping, returns, refunds, and exchanges work for orders placed with FieldKit. We ship from California and at present do not regularly ship outside of the United States. Shipping Policy

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship within the United States only, including Alaska and Hawaii. Our standard offering does not include international shipping at this time. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 10 business days after order payment is received. Order processing includes calibration, picking, and packing. Subsequently, all orders ship from California.

Orders confirmed after 12pm Pacific Time will be processed the next business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

Processing times may be longer for larger orders and during busy periods or holidays. Expedited processing is available upon request and is dependent on current workload, inventory availability, and our ability to meet the requested timeline.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

We offer domestic shipping through UPS. All orders will be shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise requested. Domestic transit times are 1-5 days, depending on the destination. Shipping methods and estimated delivery times will be communicated to you at the time your order is confirmed, and added to your invoice. Please note if the shipping address is residential, as there is a higher rate for residential delivery. We offer signature confirmation if desired; please request this when you order.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, carrier delays, weather, or other factors outside our control. Expedited shipping (Overnight, 2 Day, 3 Day)  and other shipping carriers (Fedex, USPS, and DHL) are available upon request. Third party billing is available for shipment. Please provide the carrier and account number.

FieldKit shipments including lithium batteries are subject to federal regulations regarding shipment via air.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs will be quoted and confirmed with you before your order is finalized. Any applicable sales tax will be communicated at the time of order confirmation, as required by law.

Order Tracking

Tracking will be emailed at time of shipment.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

If your package is lost or damaged in transit (i.e. before delivery), please let us know within 30 days of scheduled delivery and we will replace it. Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and that deliveries can be received securely, and request signature confirmation for delivery if desired.

If your package is delayed or appears to be lost, please contact the carrier directly. You may also reach out to us at [email protected], and we will do our best to assist.

Returns Policy

Built to Last with Modular Parts

FieldKit is designed as a modular product, so individual parts can be replaced when needed versus having to replace the entire station.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns and refund requests within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

• Items are unused (i.e. have not been deployed) and in original condition
• Items are returned in their original packaging
• Proof of purchase is provided

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Probes
• Batteries
• Cables
• Gaskets, seals, o-rings, screws, and other small hardware

How to Start a Return

To request a return or replacement request, please contact us at [email protected] with your order details and reason for return. If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send your item back. All electronic boards will be designated an RMA number along with a return label. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, or specifically if the item being returned is a circuit board produced by FieldKit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost during return shipping.

Refunds

Refund Method

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be issued via original payment method/check/store refund. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund Processing Time

Refunds are issued within 20 business days after the returned item is received. Please allow additional time for your payment provider or bank to process the refund.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective items, subject to product availability. To request an exchange, please contact us at [email protected].

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If for some reason your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 30 days of delivery. Include your order details and photos of the issue, and we will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.

Cancellations & Order Changes

Orders may be canceled or modified within 24 hours of payment being received and confirmed. Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellations or changes may not be possible. Additionally, order processing may be delayed by changes.
