Life is Water, so in order to understand life in various environments and ecosystems, the quality of water that is there to be consumed by plants and animals is something that needs to be measured. Four major parameters are needed to do this in an effective way: pH (acidity or alkalinity), conductivity (a proxy for saltiness), dissolved oxygen (how much available oxygen is in the water), and water temperature (which controls metabolism in organisms and other factors).
The four module boards connect with their respective probes by way of SMA connectors. The probes are rated for full immersion, and can operate over a broad range of temperatures. Calibration standard solutions not included.
